KYAAAAAAAA~! And just for references, Zero is the one in green. XD They were too adorable to resist. The anime is ending in 3 episodes... :/ At least I will have the manga! 24 DECEMBER... then CHRISTMAS time! :D Yippeeee!
In other news, I just came back from the Gold Expedition on Tuesday. The mountains were nice, hard on the legs, but interesting nonetheless. I learned that rocks can become your enemies (mine, at least) and you must have good climbing partners. From Timpohon Gate to Laban Rata, it was fun to talk with Alexis about anime and stuff. She even translated what the Japanese tourists were saying! I was practically shouting for subtitles when a Japanese lady said something to me. I guess fansubbers should NEVER be taken for granted in any way. :) Priyangkha, Alvin and Audrey just went full speed ahead of us. Andrea ran uphill. 0.0
Woke up around 1.30AM for the Summit Attack. Low's Peak is a trick name. If it was not for Audrey, Alvin and VK, I would be stumbling around the rocks, or even worse, sleeping on them. :S Sounds just like me, eh? At some point, I DID feel like sleeping on those nice, cool, flat rocks. Meanwhile, Alexis decided to go on WITHOUT ANY REST (I was drowsy but she was like a rocket). When I finally made it up to the peak (after seeing a few other misleading peaks), I missed the sunrise but managed to chomp down some KitKat. The chocolate felt like it had been refrigerated and had never tasted so good. I was laughing at the people making their way up the rocky path. After taking photos, I adjourned to Laban Rata with Giuleta, who was lucky enough to have a porter/guide show her the easier (safer and smarter) routes. :)
Coming down was another story. Since I was in group 6 (quite behind as there are about 9 groups), I trudged down the rocks in my uncomfortable pair of sandals (STUPID ME) which made me risk several slips (I did not fall down, thank goodness). I even killed time killing Alexis and Priyangkha with my unpleasant grumbling, groaning and constant complaints. We made it despite everything (or not I would not be here typing) though! :) Poring Hot Springs helped soothe our muscles (count out the stairs) and then... PULAU SAPI! Paradise! XD Makes me think of Paradise Kiss. The water was crystal clear and we could snorkel by the beach, which was amazing! I also went on the Banana Boat and FlyFish. Both were fun, but I prefer the Flyfish more. I was screaming like a madwoman, trying to con Priyangkha and Alexis, but it did not work out so well. Oh well. We all laughed till our stomachs hurt. :D Later on, we went snorkelling. I even kicked a rock in the water. Interesting.
Our last night at the Kinabalu Daya hotel was sheer bliss. Clean rooms + HOT WATER + smooth, tiled floors + TV = heaven. :) I watched a movie called Full Time Killer (I think) and one of the main characters, portrayed by Andy Lau was called Tok. XD Hahahaha! The next day, we bought some things at the Phillipino market before leaving KK for good. All was fine at the airport till I had to board the plane. I SAW THE RED STAIRS and started laughing spontaneously until we were up in the air. :S Hmm... It is still a mystery to me. Listened to jokes and played cards with Pryangkha and Alia on board the plane. Lots of jokes and plenty of laughs, so much that a woman from behind Priyangkha's seat was giving me evil stares. She called us 'pasar malam'. Haha! XD I will never forget the bus journey from LCCT to Cempaka Damansara. :) The entire trip was a fantastic experience, excluding the leg pain, of course.
